## Certified Sober Living in Chester County Pennsylvania

Chester County Pennsylvania has been home to Phoenix Recovery Project since our founding in 2018. What began with a single recovery house in Phoenixville has grown into four PARR certified homes serving men, women, and individuals with [dual diagnosis](/blog/mental-health-recovery-house-pennsylvania) conditions across the county and the greater Philadelphia region.

Chester County offers people in recovery something genuinely valuable — a community that is both accessible and manageable. Close enough to Philadelphia for employment and outpatient resources, yet far enough from the city to provide a quieter, more focused environment for early recovery. Phoenixville in particular has developed a strong recovery community with accessible AA and NA meetings, outpatient programs, and a growing network of recovery-supportive employers.

Our Chester County homes are accessible from across the county including West Chester, Coatesville, Malvern, Exton, Downingtown, Pottstown, and all surrounding communities. We also welcome residents from Philadelphia, Delaware County, Montgomery County, Bucks County, Berks County, Lancaster County, and South Jersey.

Co-ed SUD / Dual Diagnosis

### The High Street House

Phoenixville, PA — Chester County

The High Street House is a co-ed PARR certified sober living home located in the heart of downtown Phoenixville Pennsylvania. Serving both men and women with substance use disorder and co-occurring dual diagnosis conditions, The High Street House provides the structure, peer community, and accountability needed for lasting recovery in Chester County.

Located in downtown Phoenixville, residents have walkable access to AA and NA meetings, local employment, and outpatient programming — making The High Street House an ideal home for individuals transitioning from detox, inpatient, or intensive outpatient treatment.

Women's Only Substance Use

### The Deer House

Phoenixville, PA — Chester County

The Deer House is a women's only PARR certified sober living home in Phoenixville Pennsylvania. Designed specifically for women in recovery, The Deer House provides a safe, trauma-informed environment built on sisterhood, accountability, and the peer community that women in early recovery need to thrive.

Women face unique challenges in addiction and recovery — trauma, relationship dynamics, and the specific pressures of rebuilding family and identity in sobriety. The Deer House creates an environment where women can address these challenges honestly and with the support of peers who understand from their own experience.

Co-ed Mental Health Supportive

### Warriors Way

Chester Springs, PA — Chester County

Warriors Way is a co-ed mental health supportive housing program located on Kimberton Road in Chester Springs Pennsylvania. Operated by Phoenix Recovery Project, Warriors Way serves individuals navigating the intersection of mental health conditions and substance use disorder — what clinicians call dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorders.

Unlike standard sober living homes, Warriors Way is purpose built for individuals who need more support than a traditional recovery house provides — including residents managing depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and other mental health conditions alongside substance use disorder. The peaceful Chester Springs setting provides an ideal environment for the focused work that dual diagnosis recovery requires.

- Co-ed dual diagnosis program
- Mental health supportive housing
- Trauma informed staff

Men's Only Substance Use

### The Spring Hollow House

Phoenixville, PA — Chester County

The Spring Hollow House is a men's only PARR certified sober living home located on Spring Hollow Road in Phoenixville Pennsylvania. Built on the principle that men in recovery thrive in the company of other men who are doing the same work, The Spring Hollow House creates a brotherhood of accountability, purpose, and peer support that is uniquely powerful for men in early recovery.

Men face specific challenges in recovery — isolation, shame, identity, and the pressure to appear strong when asking for help feels impossible. The Spring Hollow House provides the environment where men can be honest about those challenges and find the support and accountability to move through them into lasting sobriety.

- Men's only
- Brotherhood and peer community
- Phoenixville PA location
- Employment focus

## Why Chester County Is an Ideal Place for Recovery

Chester County offers people in recovery a combination of advantages that few regions can match:

### Strong Recovery Community

Phoenixville and surrounding Chester County communities have a well established network of AA and NA meetings, recovery coaches, and sober support resources that make building a recovery community accessible from day one.

### Outpatient Treatment Access

Chester County is home to multiple outpatient and intensive outpatient treatment programs, allowing residents to continue clinical treatment while living in a Phoenix Recovery Project home.

### Employment Opportunities

Chester County's economy offers accessible employment opportunities across trades, services, retail, and professional sectors — with recovery friendly employers who understand and support people rebuilding their careers in sobriety.

### Accessible but Not Urban

The quieter pace of Chester County provides a focused recovery environment away from the triggers and stressors of urban life — while remaining close enough to Philadelphia for resources, family visits, and employment.

### Safe Residential Environment

Our homes are located in safe residential neighborhoods with the stability and calm that early recovery requires.

### Proximity to Philadelphia

Chester County's location makes it easily accessible from Philadelphia, Delaware County, Montgomery County, and South Jersey — allowing residents to maintain family connections while building their recovery in a new environment.
