Certified Sober Living in Chester County Pennsylvania

Chester County Pennsylvania has been home to Phoenix Recovery Project since our founding in 2018. What began with a single recovery house in Phoenixville has grown into four PARR certified homes serving men, women, and individuals with dual diagnosis conditions across the county and the greater Philadelphia region.

Chester County offers people in recovery something genuinely valuable — a community that is both accessible and manageable. Close enough to Philadelphia for employment and outpatient resources, yet far enough from the city to provide a quieter, more focused environment for early recovery. Phoenixville in particular has developed a strong recovery community with accessible AA and NA meetings, outpatient programs, and a growing network of recovery-supportive employers.

Our Chester County homes are accessible from across the county including West Chester, Coatesville, Malvern, Exton, Downingtown, Pottstown, and all surrounding communities. We also welcome residents from Philadelphia, Delaware County, Montgomery County, Bucks County, Berks County, Lancaster County, and South Jersey.

Operated by Phoenix Recovery Project, Warriors Way serves individuals navigating the intersection of mental health conditions and substance use disorder — what clinicians call dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorders.

Unlike standard sober living homes, Warriors Way is purpose built for individuals who need more support than a traditional recovery house provides — including residents managing depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and other mental health conditions alongside substance use disorder. The peaceful Chester Springs setting provides an ideal environment for the focused work that dual diagnosis recovery requires.

Men face specific challenges in recovery — isolation, shame, identity, and the pressure to appear strong when asking for help feels impossible. The Spring Hollow House provides the environment where men can be honest about those challenges and find the support and accountability to move through them into lasting sobriety.
